System house from Ulm shows expertise at AFCEA trade exhibition

In recent years, the AFCEA trade exhibition has become Germany’s leading trade fair in the field of military communications technology, electronics, sensor technology and optronics, and has continued to grow. For the now 35th edition of the event with the framework theme “(Artificial) Intelligence & Innovations – Opportunities for People and Technology”, the organizers are again expecting a large number of international exhibitors and visitors at the World Conference Center in Bonn.

The Ulm-based system house Elbit Systems Deutschland, which is one of the world’s leading companies in the fields of radio communication and C4I solutions, will also be on site with part of its broad solution portfolio at booth F 22. The latest generation of HRM 9000 radios, for example, will be presented here. These radios are already being used successfully by several NATO forces or are being evaluated for an upcoming procurement. The company, which has its production site in southern Germany, will also be showing potentially suitable solutions for the D-LBO project of the German forces, like E-LynX for soldier and command radio, shortwave radio, directional radio (LOS) and SATCOM on the Move. Furthermore, state-of-the-art C4I and soldier systems, Combat Cloud solutions and Artificial Intelligence for decision support will be on display alongside selected optronic systems.

Beyond its participation as an exhibitor, the company will underpin its own expertise at the event in the form of a presentation on “Innovations in Military Wide Area Communications”, where Elbit Germany CTO Jürgen Escher will update the expert audience on technology and tactics.

Already at the AFCEA trade exhibition 2021, Elbit Systems Germany presented itself with innovative solutions, some of which will be on display in further developed versions in 2022. (© Elbit Systems Deutschland)
